Other than the disk, there is only the fan. Not too many moving parts. Both 
should be a slowing down kind of sound (pitch drops lower until it stops).

Higher energy density batteries means more bad things can happen. My 
Titanium powerbook died about 6 months after I dropped it when the display 
connector went. :(

You probably need a new keyboard. I had an occasional de-bounce problem with 
my space-bar and one of the other keys once. Apple replaced it under 
warranty.

If you are brave, try popping out the 'p' key gently to see if the plastic 
spring underneath is busted. You may want to wear an isolation suite. It's 
amazing what accumulates under the keys. ;-)

Caps Lock key being broken is a good thing. I never use it ad it was just 
annoying so I changed the Caps Lock key to be a do nothing key.
