I like the Oak tree better for its tones and composition.

On the Pear tree I'd try to restore as much detail as I could in the  
snow -looks too white and without relief - the "gradated" ruler/slider  
in LR might help, but I think you're using PSE so perhaps a mask??

Keep going out, on top of beautiful subjects, there's lots of  
concentrated oxygen there ;-)
