How cold was your gear and how warm was it inside?
Condensation on the lens and or sensor might result in these wonderful  
glowing lights
I sometimes blow on my lenses to get this Hamilton effect,

you seem to have done it naturally.

I like them, only the noise is disturbing, if you go again, shot at a  
lower ISO is my tip.
