Subject: [Leica] Need to Clarify-- Cameras and Lenses for Sale
From: jshul at comcast.net (Jim Shulman)
Date: Fri, 5 Nov 2010 18:49:39 -0400

Please feel free to make offers on each (or all) of the individual four lots
listed below. I'll sell the lots separately--just don't want to split up
camera/lenses listed in each lot.

Thanks!
Jim

Subject: [Leica] FS: Finance My Trousseau. Cameras and Lenses for Sale

John and I are finally getting married (as opposed to civilly unified) later
this month. While we prefer inexpensive ceremonies, a lunch is still a
lunch.

I realized that I have a pile of perfectly acceptable-really nice-equipment
in my cabinet sitting there unused, waiting for another loving home. Some
pictures on my LUG gallery postings were made with the stuff listed below.

First acceptable offers for the four lots below gets them. Please, I do
not want to split up the lots! Make an offer to me offline at
jshul at comcast.net. I assume that you know what reasonable is. Shipping
at
my cost. All payments via paypal plus 3% (or send the money as a gift).

1. Kowa 6 120/220 Outfit. Includes Camera plus 85/f2.8 lens; 150mm
f3.5 lens; 55mm f3.5 lens. Latter two lenses with Kowa front caps and
cases. Lenses are the chrome type, not black bodied. The camera finder has
some dirt spots (very small) and what looks like some wipe marks on the
screen.) Pictures are crisp and sharp. There is also a copy of the
original instruction manual. Best part of the camera: the body and all
lenses were CLAd by Ken Ruth at Photography on Bald Mountain. He spent
three trips making the Kowa body reliable (fixing a notorious wind/shutter
cocking problem)

2. Canon V with Canon 50/1.4. Both dating from around 1956. Some
bright marks and misc. spots on camera. Both camera and lens were CLAd by
Ken Ruth at Photography on Bald Mountain (mainly cleaning finder, adjusting
shutter speeds, and tightening a loose front section of the lens). Camera
also comes with a lifetime supply of rubber lens hoods for the 50/1.4 (I had
to buy a box of 'em for the $5 fee).

3. LTM Schneider Xenogon 35/f2.8. Naturally, I needed a screwmount 35
for my Canon, and wanted the famed Schneider. Naturally, as with all my
vintage equipment I sent it away for a CLA (this one to Sherry Krauter), who
returned it cleaned, noting a discolored aperture blade (that in no way
affects performance.) No caps.

4. Bessa R2a. I bought two of these. Why, I don't know, but I have
more than enough with one. No packaging, but I'll include a body cap. With
strap. Works perfectly. A few minor marks on the body.

Purchase with confidence: I'm on THAT AUCTION SITE (schlockmeister) with
100% positive feedback.

Best,

Jim Shulman

Wynnewood, PA
