Pretty much every photograph
typically depicts a person(s), place(s) or thing(s)
that either someone else
(or some other natural process)
has toiled over.

We're left with the variables:
choice of subject (including access to same)
light (existing or BYO [bring your own])
choice of camera and lens (angle of view)
choice of shutter speed and f stop (depth of field)
choice of framing the elements (composition)
choice of point of view (where to stand, kneel or lay)
choice of point of focus
choice of moment of exposure
post production processing (another set of variables)
