I'm not sure where I lie in the mp debate. The exposure range of the CFV39
and the M9 seem greater than I've previously used allowing for more range
in the depth of the image.

With the rangefinder, I'd argue that I wanted 14 mp to allow me to crop
images. I found the 10 on the M8 sometimes was a bit "pushed" and I really
wanted to fill the frame better. You get away with 10 on an SLR with
zooms, but I wanted 14 on the M9 and I got 18, which for me was a bonus.
Now I can crop to half frame and still have a decent 9 mp to enlarge, and
the lens copes with that "interrogation".

Cheers

Alastair
