The camera I get questioned about most is a 64 year old Leica IIIc. It is
one of my favorite film carry cameras but when I use it to photograph
antique car shows I get stopped by a lot of people, usually old farts my own
age, who remember having one just like it "back in the day." It leads to a
lot of interesting conversations but it doesn't facilitate picture taking.
On the other hand my DSLR hardly gets noticed. Every teen ager has one just
like it. My most unobtrusive camera is another Leica, a CL. No one knows
what it is. It looks just like any of a million black bodied run of the mill
film cameras or P&S digitals. One person was sure that it was a Canon G11.
