Nathan - Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, and at least for 
the few comparisons I made, prices are cheaper in New York, even after you 
get back the approximate 10% rebate for export. 

I had been hoping to find the new Lumix 14mm f2.5 on sale, but it was not 
available yet. I would have paid the premium to get it.  I did try one at 
Photokina and at least for the couple of shots I was able to get in before I 
had to had it back, it looks pretty good.  

The Akihabara store has the largest camera inventory, I believe, and that's 
the one I suggest you checkout first. 

But then, there's also Map Camera, about which more shortly.
