See, and Dr, Ted said we shouldn't have a discussion :-)

The tools we use are more shaped by our attitudes than what is right, for if
we do it, then it is right.

Therefore Dr. Ted sees no (not much) need of flash for his documentary work
and his results speak for themselves.

Tina needs no flash because it would be out of place in Honduras etc. but
her results are also great.

Nan Goldin et al. use flash because they get the results they want.

It's like Leica vs. Nikon, or Canon, or 4/3, or iPhone.

What tools make YOU comfortable enough to shoot the photos you like to shoot
to come out the way you want?

Of course may be more importantly, what tools make you challenge your
comfort zones and create images that you didn't know you can create?

(Personally I don't like to challenge my comfort zone. I am happy where I
am...)
