My experience is that replacement value is just that; the cost to replace
the piece of equipment.  It was not depreciated.  It has been a while since
I had the problem, but when my CLE with a Summicron 35 was stolen, the
insurance company paid for a new M6, since the CLE was out of production.  I
bought a used 28 Elmarit to replace the 35.  Of course, the deductible
applied.

Check with your agent to be sure.
