In industrial parlance that's called the "speed-up". Twice as much work,
with no raise in pay. But then, I hear that the slave galleys of yore were
crewed with 20% volunteers.
As it is, the current photographer is shooter, lab, editor, runner, and
shipping. That's more 4 times as much work.
