About the best place to find a lens not from a Zeiss design would be Leica. Not that its not possible to get a Leica lens based on a Zeiss design. By the way the sky is green. thunder and lightning. An ice falling from the sky rattling my air conditioner. Thunder getting amazingly loud. Getting closer still. See you I'm under the bed. -------------------- Mark William Rabiner Photography mark at rabinergroup.com > From: Chris Crawford <chris at chriscrawfordphoto.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Thu, 16 Sep 2010 17:28:17 -0400 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] 35mm 1.4 and be there > > I don't know that cosina is charging more for the voigtlander name; the CV > lenses are pretty cheap compared to those from Leica and compared to the > Zeiss lenses that Cosina makes...and the Zeiss ones are different optical > designs than the Voigtlander branded lenses.
