Larry,
Nostalgic, even for me - I haven't celebrated Holi in 20 odd years as it is
a very North Indian festival celebrating the arrival of spring, and I moved
south in 1989. We still have a person who irons all our clothes, pickup and
delivery included - Rs.5 for a saree (6 yards of cloth), Rs.2 for a sari
blouse, Rs.3 for everything else. For some idea on the cost $1=Rs.45.
Cheers
Jayanand
