I'm using a Drobo and think it's great. I had one 1T drive start to fail
and the Drobo warned me. I replaced it with a 2T drive and never lost
anything. Mine has 3 1T and 1 2T drives so I still have plenty of room for
expansion. It's about 3/4 full now. I do keep it backed up with Acronis on
another WD hard drive. It's super easy to use and makes no noise at all.
Someday I'd like to get the really big Drobo and do away with most of my
external hard drives.
