I have a friend who was one of his 3rd assistants; this was about 10 years ago. The guys day rate was 30-50k per day plus expenses. He didn't have a studio; he rented and passed that expense on to the client. He didn't own cameras; he rented and passed that expense on to the client. Boatloads of money. Thanks!
