The were no Leica cameras in 1910 :-)

But yes, of course today's gadgets and digital cameras are not designed to 
last, which is why I will never pay what a new M9 costs today. I will buy 
one when it is under 2500 EUR, just like I waited with the M8 until it came 
down to that range. Lenses are worth investing in, but bodies--not. IMO.
