If you have a LOT of film to scan, and I mean rolls not individual frames, then a flat bed scans a whole roll in a few seconds. Keep the film in the sleeves ( you did use clear PrintFile sleeves, didn't you?). Scan the entire roll in the sleeve. Then select your favs and do it again using your roll film scanner. What does this buy you? Quick scans for first look of everything ( think of it as a proof sheet) , followed by detailed scans of the promising ones..... Sounds expensive, but if you have a lot of film to do, it is the only way to get through it all......and get on to doing something worth while...... Frank Filippone red735i at earthlink.net
