The additional hardware to make full use of limited DOF as in follow focus gears, rails fluid head tripod, dolly and shoulder supports, decent microphones, audio mixers, proper editing software and hardware, well the list is truly endless. Cost me $12K to get into minimal digital video with low end mic's, etc.; and it ain't HD.
