The real difference between an M4-2 or M4P with the 28 frame lines and an M6 ( classic, not the TTL) without a battery is the age. After that, it is pretty meaningless..... The TTL has a "backwards speed dial, which is only confusing if you have both.... otherwise, throw in the TTL as the same basic utilitarian purpose..... Remember, that an M4 of ANY designation can never have a built in battery function. An M6 without a battery, can always have a battery ( and therefore a Meter) installed for about $5. Are you really that good about guesstimating your exposures? Or do you use an external meter? Frank Filippone red735i at earthlink.net It's not a M4. It has a 28mm frame.
