[Leica] widest lens used?

I looked into the Zeiss M lens after you mentioned it on the Lug a few years 
back. The Soviet lens is reportedly not an exact copy of Zeiss's optical 
formula but very close. My two (silver) lenses appear to be built out of 
aluminum. Which btw looks pretty good in the 1963 lens.
