Of course, the Italians in New Orleans can't be bested by the Irsh, so next week it happens all over again with St. Joseph's Festival. Then again there's lots of inbreeding, so most everyone is a little bit Irish, or Italian in New Orleans. (and who's the nearly nude chick in the first photo?) They rent Mardi Gras floats for the Irish Day Parades, and so no telling what the float theme might be.
