Depends who you ask;
whether you ask
those driving 20 year old Saturn's
or
those driving new BMWs MBs, Porsches, Escalades, etc.
the answers will be different.
;~)

Remember: Leica is a tiny company.
They don't have to sell huge quantities
(another reason the prices will remain high).
They can't fill M9 orders fast enough
in the worst economy and job market
in many decades.
