There is a massive citadel in Farah built by Alexander the Great. It's a kilometer on a side and very difficult to shoot; it's just too large. We had hoped to get there at sunrise but we had an overcast day: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Wendy+Thurman/farahdun.jpg.html Next day, waiting at the airstrip for the ride out when an AN-12 (Russian) landed with pallets of soda pop: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Wendy+Thurman/AN_12.jpg.html Thanks for looking.
