I'm with Rabs on this one. The current 35/1.4 is already on the chubby side
for a take-everywhere lens, but it gets away with it because it's so good.

I've had my 35/1.4 Aspherical since 1990 and adore it, but have often
hankered for a simpler 35/2 ASPH just for the smaller size and weight.

If the new version 35/1.4 actually goes out and hunts for photos for me, I'd
consider it. Otherwise, no sale, Solms.
