All, the problem is the RF swing arm (the part that holds the little
roller). Not the frame selector.
Never had a problem like this on my film M's. And to think, this isn't even
an electrical or "new fangled" part of the M8. Surely they should have
gotten this part right; it is a 52 year old design.
