At a college level, where students purchase their books, the IPad is a great
solution.
At a grade school-high school level, where school districts buy the books (
and reuse them MANY times), the IPad will have a significantly harder time
breaking into the ( already budget stretched)  market.

It is all about who is specifying  the appliance, how much say he has in the
decision making process, and, especially, who's wallet is getting
charged......
