I was standing at the kitchen window yesterday, changing the lens on my M9
so I could take photos of the dozen cardinals on my bird feeder when the
hawk sailed right through my porch and landed on the deck rail. He was huge
with a big curved beak.  I could have reached out and touched him except for
the window.  Of course, I didn't get a photo and the birds all disappeared
immediately.  :-(
