Sonny,

 

I understand what you?ve said about the motor drive (or winder) being 
separate from the R8 body. I have the motor drive attached to the R8 body. 
The drive has a slide in battery that is not what is in the B&H picture. I?m 
looking for the slide-in battery that has a twist aluminum half-circle on 
the end of it which releases the battery from the drive itself. Any sources?

The R8 has a separate Motor drive.  It is not part of the body. In fact they 
have a winder or a drive, your choice.  The body only is manual wind.
