> But when she shot 35mm was she shooting with Leica?

She started out with a Minolta and two lenses and them moved to Nikon.
Which 99 percent of the working photographers were using those days, the
early 70's.
By the way when I started out in the mid 70's I was very intrigued by
Maitani and the Olympus OM1. But I was talked out of it as it just was not
perceived as professional; as in all the REAL photographers then were
shooting Nikons. So I got a just out Nikon F2. Being told by everybody that
it was pure JUNK I should get a real Nikon an F. That was exciting enough.
Plus my first lens was a 45 GN 2.8 which was just out and kind of odd.
Naturally all the top Magnum shooters had never stopped shooting Leica M's.
But that was not commonly known amongst the struggling masses.
