But then some of the French were very unwilling to cooperate with them or
traditionally ANY authority EVER including the church. ANY church.
This I learned in the movie about the choir which came out a few years ago.
You got whole French towns of pagans going back century's.. The Last thing
they're going to so is listen to anybody.

So I don't ever put the French into any thin category. And avoid doing it
with anybody.
