Hi Al, Quite frankly I'm not going to waste the time of the hounds chasing after a bunch of gutless wonders (I'm keeping it polite) who consider themselves LEICA or any other camera users! Let alone they would consider themselves photographers! The crew have had a year, actually 363 days and nights to catch two photos of something they like from their hobby or profession. And here we are close to 40 fewer entries than last year. I just can't imagine why anyone would miss such a wonderful opportunity having their photos published. Not in some mickey mouse two bit rag mag, but a damn fine well produced book ! One of the great thrills for me for 60 years? Seeing my photography published and it still is after all these years! It's like the dessert of ones efforts of clicking away. The super best part? My name with my pictures and how wonderful it feels when you have the book in your hands, you first open to your two pages or 22 or 122! Then to show your published work "in a book" to your friends and family! Don't care what anyone says, it's still an awesome nice gut feeling of "Jeeesh look at that!" And the big smile that goes with the kind of nice squiggle in the tummy! :-) For the life of me I can't ever understand why in the last month as we run to putting the book to bed, we have to YELL AND HOLLER for people to submit two photographs. We're not looking for 2 world stunning images, we're just asking to please send along 2 photographs of something you like and the subject and quality can be good, bad or ugly!Who cares anyway, this is a family event! ERGO: the whole family should be involved. Naw I'm not going out SHOUTING AS IN THE PAST, why? Because it isn't worth yelling at a bunch of useless twits who for 5 or 10 minutes out of an entire year can't click 2 photos for one of the greatest feelings in the world... "Their pictures in this book!" Damn and it's free! Another best part! ;-) It's all yours now Crew, if you haven't sent any. Well Ok 48 hours to go and that's pushing it!!! Because Jim locks out at midnight! Quite frankly those who do not send are nothing but losers! I could go on but wont waste any more time. A BIG THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO'VE SENT, GOOD ON YOU ALL!
