So pony up for a damn' M9. It's a very good camera.

I played around with a rented GH1 (pretty similar, but a bit bulkier and does
video particularly well) and thought the image quality was... perfectly okay.
I was interested in how practical using Leica M glass on it was, and while it
worked nicely for still subjects, I didn't find the EVF manual focusing
practical for anything which might move around, like you know, PEOPLE. Using
a rented one for a week got the idea out of my system, at a far more
reasonable cost than buying the thing. Of course, you're planning to use the
above camera with a lens it's actually meant to use...

No idea if it's as responsive as one would hope, but this is the camera I'd
expect might bring back pictures good enough that you wouldn't slap yourself
on the head for not having brought a better camera along, if you got a
particular "keeper" image.

Except... just get an M9.

Nurse one bottle, and... get an M9.
