No issues with my M8 either and it has been well drenched also.

Larry it is a huge stretch to declare that Nathan's camera's problem was
caused by a drop of sweat. Unless you are a product liability lawyer or
something.
I read your list of 'shortcomings'. Nope no occurrences here. I just checked
and my M8 and M9 haven't spontaneously combusted either. Whew!.
