The nocti will always be hard to "nail" focus: you need IME to take a few
shots. I can see where you are headed with this combination, but I don't
think colour will be the best end-point. I may be wrong, but the colours
are for me not adding to the portrait, but the "grittyness" is. Try it in
b/w. I think you may like the results. I would also consider a gentle blur
to the image with a sharpen edges.
