If I measured my photo storage in gigabytes, it might not be too bad, but mine are in terabytes. Right now I have 10 1tb external hard drives hooked up and those are just the active ones (and their backups). The SmugMug vault through Amazon costs 22 cents per gigabyte per month, plus 30 per gigabyte data transfer in, and 51 cents per gigabyte data transfer out, plus a $1 per month service charge. I'm afraid that would add up in a hurry. About your switch to Mac - I'm considering the same thing. Other than keys being in the wrong place, have you found any other stumbling blocks with the Mac? Is it more stable than your old Windows machine? That's all I'm interested in - stability. I want to turn it on and have it work. Tina Tina Manley www.tinamanley.com
