Well, let me be a contrarian voice then: one of things I like best about 
Lightroom is that I did not feel any need to buy a book to tell me how to 
use it. Between my accumulated (if superficial) knowledge of Photoshop, and 
some tips on Adobe's web site, there was no need to waste time and money on 
books, at least not for the things I want to do.
