The logical next step to the S2 and the M9 would be a full frame DSLR that
takes R lenses. Leica said 'no new R10' at the LHSA Seattle meet, but even
though this article is dated April 2009 Leica has been known in the past to
never say never again.
I would think it makes sense to develop exceptional lenses for the larger
format S2 and then scale down these same optical formulas to fit a FF DSLR.
