Subject: [Leica] IMG: Hello from Pakistan

Friends, after a long time, I am de-lurking to tell you a little of  
what has been going on in my world.  I left Canada in May to come to  
Pakistan, I have many friends here, and we are working to set up our  
business here.  Before you say "security", yes, it is a problem, but  
we work with it.  I have to be careful, and my freedom is curtailed,  
but I really love the people, they are generous, mostly very  
courteous, and kind.

I no longer have my M8, but have scrounged up a very sweet M3 and 50  
2.8 Elmar.  They have film here.  These are from the first roll, Fuji  
Color 100.  I don't have a scanner, so the lab does a scan to a CD for  
me.  Problem is, it is a low grade scan, so I can only do basic  
adjustments.  Second problem is that I am using Sunny 16 for  
exposure.  I must say, however, it is fun waiting for the pictures,  
and see if my various experiments are working.
