boy,   this really rings a big bell for me George...it seems to imply  
a willingness to concede on total control, a willingness to sacrifice  
control and perfection, for that magical image that may or may not  
come...

if this is true, technique, even impeccable technique is empty without  
content, without magic...



for me this feels right, I believe it to be true...
