This has compelled me to come out in the open. I teach economics in college and what has sparked a lot of discussion in my classes is the trade offs we make in order to get a "cheap" price. Yes--we all have a hand in this. A good book that we have been talking about is "Cheap--The High Price of Discount Culture" by Sharp--out in the bookstores now. It really made me stop and think--and the book is even handed. You can bet I will be showing these images in class.
