[Leica] IMG: End of sailing season pics.

The sailing season in the Hudson Valley is just about over. Most boats get
pulled by Columbus Day, or perhaps the week after. We took our boat out for
an end of season sail last weekend and to give me the opportunity to use my
next to last roll of Kodachrome film. Here are the resulting pictures. I had
forgotten how brilliant, almost exaggerated, the color rendition is. I
didn't enhance the color on any of the pictures in the Gallery. "Just the
truth, Mam." Most of the pictures follow Ted's rule and are taken from the
shadow side. Besides, I live on the east bank of the river and the sun sets
in the west.


The Sojourner Truth is a ferrocement replica of a ferry sloop. I doubt that
the original was bright yellow.

river and the Half Moon replica visits every town to host a celebration.
