That's the exact opposite to the way I think now.  With a film camera it 
tends to be whatever I've got in the camera and if it's mono film then I see 
it in mono when I shoot it.  If it's colour film or I'm using a digital 
camera, I see it in colour and print it in colour.  It never even occurs to 
me to use a digital camera for mono pictures.

The black and white holds more appeal to my eyes.

I usually ask myself, in these cases:
Why color?
To what purpose?
Did I make the exposure because of the color?
Does the color demand to be part of this photograph?
