I just today used a lovely little program
PhotoRescue
<http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/v3/index.htm>
to recover 6 photos
which I deleted from an M8 card
in a too hasty field edit on Sunday.

I'd bought a copy 2.0 back 2005
and they had a $19 upgrade path.
Very responsive to my eMails today.

Clean intuitive interface
and flawless recovery
of deleted files.
