Subject: [Leica] Hard sell for the M9?

    This morning I got a special advertisement from Amazon.com offering a 
"discount" on the M9. Amazon will sell it at $6995 USD, a 10% reduction from 
the list price of $7750. They throw in free shipping too. The Amazon site 
has direct links to photographic review blogs lauding the M9s virtues and a 
direct link to the Leica 9/9/09 announcement. If you can get the camera sent 
to a no sales tax state (e.g. New Hampshire or Alaska) you can avoid taxes 
which can be as much as $586 in New York. Can e-Bay auctions be far behind?
    By the way Mark, the X1 is offered at a discount too.
