Adam, only thinking of getting a 3880. As I mentioned I don't want to get 
into a situation whereby in order to be happy with the prints I have to 
invest in Image Print again.
Although I have been happy with Image Print for printing on the 2200 using 
the M8.

I think the big thing about the RIP is that especially in Image Print's 
favour they have many files of profiles paper prints for each printer that 
they support, but yes, agreed it's big money especially for the larger 
printers.
