Apparently the focussing is by one of those endlessly turning 
fly-by-wire rings, with only a scale on the LCD. As far as DOF you're 
on your own.

The performance would have to be a number of classes higher than the 
Pany GF1's to justify the price. The high ISO performance is likely 
better than the Pany's, but then the Panasonic can be had with a 
20/1.7 or 1 1/2 stops better, so the high ISO had better be quite a 
few stops better. And changing lenses is _much_ more difficult on the 
Leica. Panasonic, on the other hand has already announced a 14/2.8 
(28 equiv.) pancake lens for next year. Hopefully they can deliver as 
well as promise.

At least there are now some interesting options in this segment.
