I ordered a similar Leica item from B&H last night.
Both are characterized as "T2", which I hope is compatible with plain  
old "T".
I also ordered the R lens-to-M body adapter by Novoflex, which was  
listed as unavailable by several other sources. Good ol' B&H!

Hoping to be able to post some astrophotos made with the M8 in a few  
weeks. The Elmarit-R 180/2.8 should make for a nice 10-degree star  
field.
