Thanks for taking the time to look and comment Ted.

I generally work every good frame to some extent.
But nothing extraordinary.

Simply:
adjust color and contrast to speak of "life" as I see and felt it
(generally looking for neutral, natural color balance
and a bit of snap).
tweak the composition (crop if needed) to achieve
an asymmetrical, solidly balanced effect
(remove any distracting lines or forms)
which hopefully invites the eye to move about effortlessly.

No fancy Photoshop filters or retouching.

The 100 apo macro and 2x extender
does produce a somewhat "painterly" effect in out of focus areas.
especially when combined with high ISO on the DMR.

Tomorrow's Friday flower shows this "painterly" effect too - i think.
(stay tuned)

Indeed! - aging, at a certain point, sucks in most regards.
Yet age we do - no point wasting "hate" energy on it.

As long as we can
see the light
falling on the forms
we can practice our craft
and continue to learn
as well as guide those
who run past us.
;~)
