Much as I like Voigtlander products in general, I have to say their Leica M
to Micro 4/3 adapter is a disaster.

In addition to the problem you mentioned, it also does not permit the use of
the DR Summicron 50/2.0 - the lens mounts OK, but it will not focus beyond
3m.  Their official stand is that the adapter is only officially compatible
with Cosina-made Voigtlander and Zeiss lenses, and nothing else.

If you intend to use Leitz/Leica lenses, you will be better off with the
Panasonic Lumix Leica M to Micro 4/3 adapter (model DMW-M2AM).  It is better
built, fits better (no slack whatsoever).  They even go into the trouble of
publishing a compatibility list with Leica lenses:
