Love your creativity Jim.

For the first one - yet the gallery doesn't allow this - I'd frame it 
with the corners of the square on what looks to be the sides and 
top/bottom, a rotation of 45 degrees of the frame, not the flower, like 
this <> .
The second is wonderful as is.
